My Bariatric Surgeon called me yesterday to inform me that my Iron is low, my Vit D is low, my Vit B's are low to mention a few. How can this be with all the vitamins I have been ingesting? I just switched last week after the blood draw to do my own research on how "great" Shaklee vitamins really are. In price comparison, they are about the same price as my specialized(chewable) barariatric vitamins. I am now taking VITALIZER vitamins. This regimen consist of taking 6 pills once a day. Being me, of course I have to add in there some calcium because my "new" insides requires a bit extra! So I add in 2-4 chewable calcium citrate (not viactiv type). I also have an underactive (hypo) thyroid, so spacing out vitamins is all about timing with me. I have to wait 2 hours after taking any vitamins before I can take my meds and the meds have to be taken on an empty stomach for maximum absorption. So, I pretty much take my meds as soon as my eyes open in the morning and another dose before bed. This way I can start eating early...always thinking about food!
So I will post in one month, then in another month about the vitamins. I need time for my bosy to fully absorb the benefits. Even though there is tons of research proving that these vitamins are awesome (such as olypians takign them and such) I still have to challenge everything on my own terms...so wish me luck :)
Did I mention I had decided to become a distributor for Shaklee? Although I cannot vouch for the vitamins just yet, I have been using the cleaning products and facial system for over a month and cannot say enough about the products. High quality and affordable price when compared to what is out there. Check out my website! Remember that this company is 100% money back guaranteed!
